From the point of alternative healing systems, every individual is unique, We never heal only illness, we heal the individual, mind, emotions, body and soul. When we discuss diseases is not easy to generalize, especially is difficult to generalize about illness called "bipolar syndrome", because this illness is very confusing even for scientists and psychiatrists.

1.Symptoms are not clear, there are many suggested for each polarity, but none of them is typical (it may be "this symptom" or "that symptom", someone might react on this way, someone on that way and so one.).

2.The cause of illness is not clear, some authors are "sure" that must be genetic cause because bipolar syndrome is often repeating among the members of one family. Up till now, scientists did not find which gene could be the cause, they suggested few of them, but every bipolar person has different "naughty" gene, so genetic theory of disease is not proven.

3.Some authors call it mental disease, some of them brain disease, because some patients have brain disorders, some do not. Some studies have found anatomical differences in areas such as the amygdala, prefrontal cortex and hippocampus, on some brains, but this is not typical. However, despite 25 years of research involving more than 7000 MRI scans, studies continue to report conflicting findings and there remains considerable debate over the neuroscientific findings.

4. It is also well known that bipolar disorder is very often misdiagnosed, so there are many people they are treated with strong meds even though they have physical illness which created mood swings.Diagnosis is based on the self-reported experiences of an individual as well as abnormalities in behavior reported by family members, friends or co-workers, followed by secondary signs observed by a psychiatrist, nurse, social worker, clinical psychologist or other clinician in a clinical assessment. There is no biological tests for bipolar disorder.

5.There is no clear consensus how many types of bipolar disorder exist.

6. If we take step back in time, we will find out that nothing about that illness was clear from the very beginning : The term "manic-depressive illness" or psychosis was coined by German psychiatrist Emil Kraepelin in the late 19th century, originally referring to all kinds of mood disorder. German psychiatrist Karl Leonhard split the classification again in 1957, employing the terms unipolar disorder (Major depressive disorder) and bipolar disorder.

On the end of story, it is only clear that every patient has his/her very own "bipolar syndrome" , which characterizes extreme mood swings, in many varieties of expression, and many varieties of intensity as well.

I have been thinking about illness called "bipolar disorder" for many months, because my intuition and experience tells me that this illness is very often wrongly treated and represented. I know a lot people which were treated and even hospitalized with diagnosis like "manic-depressive psychosis" : "bipolar syndrome" but the cause of mental disorder and extreme mood swings was "simple" hormonal imbalance, not the mental illness. Hormonal imbalance, when persisted can manifest like mental illness. Thyroid gland connected with parathyroid glands, pituitary gland, adrenal glands....all of them can make real mess in our mind; in addiction to crazy games which our sexual hormones sometimes play, result can be very often mental disaster. Hormones are powerful chemical messengers and connected with our EMOTIONS. It takes only a tiny amount of hormones to cause big changes in cells or even in your whole body and mind : they can create healing if balanced or earthquake if they are not. Our hormones erupt every time there is situation which we perceive it as potentially dangerous.

Reason for endocrine system becomes imbalanced and produces stressful reactions even where there is no obvious reason for that is is too big quantity of stress in certain period of our life, which causes hormonal imbalance, and we get used to this stress, so nerves and hormones prolong to create stressful reactions even when there is no need for that.

The true is that the health or illness is our choice, each person can improve and heal oneself, but has to make the big and constant effort, because changing oneself is not always easy.

Each health disorder has its root in our emotional and mental state which we create from the moment of our birth, our earliest emotional experiences are first foundation for our future life. Child who lives in emotional unstable family, copies these energies, get used to them, and just automatically repeats the similar emotional/mental/behavioural pattern in his/her own life.

There are also examples of people who were suppressed in the childhood to naturally react with joy, tears or anger. Afterwards they finally start to express their suppressed emotions on extreme way, because without habit of expressing the feelings, you must crush the wall and then feelings just erupt out, like magnum, without control.

Everyone of us is different: some of us have stronger nerves, some of us have more sensitive neural system. People who are more sensitive, attune easier to the energies from outside world, what is great if they are loving and positive, and is bad, if they are stressful and negative.

Every living person has "ups" and "downs", "plus" or "minus" phases, periods of hyperactivity and periods of hipoactivity. Sometimes we are flying, sometimes we just want to disappear. Only minority is naturally born "cool" and have calm nerves.

Whenever someone has extreme "up" feelings for some time, just must go "down", and going down is painful. Nature tends to balance itself: every "high" is followed by "low" phase, sooner or later. It is natural process: too high levels of emotional energy are for our nerves very much alike we put light bulb of 500W in the 60W lamp. Lamp must burn out, depression follows.

None of us can stand depression: deep down is like in hell: suicidal thoughts are natural, everyone just likes to escape from hell. Erich From said that suicidal thoughts come just because we want to choose between known bad conditions of present life and possible good conditions outside that life. I cannot agree more with that. Person in mental hell of depression can see the light only in in running away from it: body and this life perceives as prison and prisoners always want freedom...It is natural urge, but not the right solution: life is to be lived and can be very interesting when we transform our emotions, change our mental patterns, and use our mind to improve our reality here and now.

Some spiritual conditions call the state when we feel left from everyone and hopeless the Dark night of the soul, and we can find the way out, only if we change our way of thinking, our beliefs, when we start to search light and love within us.

I also had extreme mood swings because of hyperactive thyroid for many years (affected were the other endocrine glands as well), all aspects of my life were suffering, then I started to practice Reiki, which improved my health, and I did not have depressive days any more. But mood swings persisted even after that, but with tendency to be too angry, aggressive and demanding in my private life ( I was always great while healing the others, calm and full of balance, ). Mind though, that I was only arguing with my dear ones, who also had problems with thyroid gland, ha! After some time, my private life improved a lot, but very often I could not control the overreactions, which came suddenly, out of the blue sky. I was listen the tiny little voice, my inner guide who kept telling me: "It is not mental problem, it is physical disorder." Finally I discovered that was all about my thyroid gland, and after I prescribed myself homeopathic treatment, my behavioral patterns started to change, literally overnight. After few months, my overreactions in periods of stress changed into the calm ones, laughing ones, humorous ones, on the end I stopped to create so stressful situations, and succeed to attain control over all aspects of my life: now I live persisting state of happiness, believe me that joy and peace can persist.

Symptomes of bipolar disorder

Let us see, what is officially told and written about bipolar disorder, from few web pages, just to explain what bipolar disorder could mean. I say could mean, because every psychiatrist or scientist has different approach to the same illness, different descriptions, different way of understanding "extreme mood swings". Do not blame them: every patient has different symptoms, different intensity of them, different story, different triggers for mood swings, different cause of disorder.

Please, try to read this text untouched: if someone of you suffers from mood swings and have some symptoms, do not be frightened of possible psychiatric disease. All humanity is more or less bipolar. Bipolarity is in our nature, some of us just know better how to balance it then the others. It is more important to learn the ways of self-balance and nerves calming then to create real illness, expecting that symptoms must progress. Because they don´t. Health or illness is matter of individual decision: like everything else in your life, consciously or subconsciously we always decide about our diagnosis. A lot of people decide to cope with mood disorder and try to find the cause and ways to overcome it, some just give up, because of lack of trust in themselves.

"Bipolar disorder-also known as manic depression or manic-depressive illness-involves dramatic shifts in mood from the highs of mania to the lows of major depression. More than just a fleeting good or bad mood, the cycles of bipolar disorder last for days, weeks, or months.Unlike ordinary mood swings, bipolar disorder is much more intense and disruptive to everyday functioning, affecting energy, activity levels, judgment, and behavior.

Its causes aren't completely understood, but bipolar disorder often runs in families.

The first manic or depressive episode of bipolar disorder usually occurs in the teenage years or early adulthood.

Signs and symptoms of mania

In the manic phase of bipolar disorder, feelings of heightened energy, creativity, and euphoria are common. People experiencing a manic episode often talk a mile a minute, sleep very little, and are hyperactive. They may also feel like they're all-powerful, invincible, or destined for greatness. But while mania feels good at first, it has a tendency to spiral out of control. People often behave recklessly during a manic episode-gambling away savings, engaging in inappropriate sexual activity, or making foolish business investments, for example. They may also become angry, irritable, and aggressive, picking fights, lashing out when others don't go along with their plans, and blaming anyone who criticizes their behavior.

Common signs and symptoms of mania include:

  • Feeling unusually "high" and optimistic OR extremely irritable
  • Unrealistic, grandiose beliefs about one's abilities or powers
  • Sleeping very little, but feeling extremely energetic
  • Talking so rapidly that others can't keep up
  • Racing thoughts; jumping quickly from one idea to the next
  • Highly distractible, unable to concentrate
  • Impaired judgment and impulsiveness
  • Acting recklessly without thinking about the consequences
  • Delusions and hallucinations (in severe cases)
  • Elevated mood
  • Racing thoughts
  • Hyperactivity
  • Increased energy
  • Lack of self-control
  • Inflated self-esteem (delusions of grandeur, false beliefs in special abilities)
  • Over-involvement in activities
  • Reckless behavior
  • Binge eating, drinking, and/or drug use
  • Sexual promiscuity
  • Impaired judgment
  • Tendency to be easily distracted
  • Little need for sleep
  • Easily agitated or irritated
  • Poor temper control

Signs and symptoms of hypomania (my comment:THAT EXPLANATION IS REAL PEARL OF WISDOM, BECAUSE EXPLAINS THAT IS NOT HEALTHY TO BEE IN TOO GOOD MOOD, FOR SOME DOCTORS EVERYTHING IS ILLNESS):

Hypomania is a less severe form of mania. People in a hypomanic state feel euphoric, energetic, and productive, but their symptoms are milder than those of mania and much less disruptive. Unlike manics, people with hypomania never suffer from delusions and hallucinations. They are able to carry on with their day-to-day lives. To others, it may seem as if the hypomanic individual is merely in an unusually good mood. But unfortunately, hypomania often escalates to full-blown mania or is followed by a major depressive episode

Signs and symptoms of bipolar depression

The depressive phase of bipolar disorder is very similar to that of major depression. However, there are some notable differences. When compared to major depression, bipolar depression is more likely to include symptoms of low energy. People with bipolar depression tend to move and speak slowly and sleep a lot. They are also more likely to have psychotic depression, a condition in which they've lost contact with reality.

Common symptoms of bipolar depression include:

  • Feeling hopeless, sad, or empty.
  • Loss of interest in things you used to enjoy
  • Fatigue or loss of energy
  • Physical and mental sluggishness
  • Appetite or weight changes
  • Feelings of self-loathing, shame, or guilt
  • Persistent sadness
  • Fatigue or listlessness
  • Sleep disturbances:
    • Excessive sleepiness
    • Inability to sleep
  • Eating disturbances
    • Loss of appetite and weight loss
    • Overeating and weight gain
  • Loss of self-esteem
  • Feelings of worthlessnes
  • Difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions
  • Withdrawal from friends
  • Withdrawal from activities that were once enjoyed
  • Persistent thoughts of death

Types of bipolar disorder

The course of bipolar disorder varies widely from person to person, with unpredictable differences in the pattern and frequency of the manic and depressive episodes. Some people are more prone to either mania or depression, while others alternate equally between the two types of episodes. Some have frequent mood disruptions, while others experience only a few over a lifetime. The duration and severity of each episode also differs....etc, etc."

OK, you must agree, from the one point of view, all together sounds like real earthquake, but from the another...let us admit; all of us are sometimes shaking, and none of us is perfect, and sometimes behaves unstable, and- especially in periods of major life events have some of symptoms mentioned, or few, or more then few, but the difference is that a lot of people do not see that as mental illness, rather as phase which will pass by. That is life wisdom. Anyway, life would be boring without none "ups" and "downs" at all. None of people who have bipolar disorder diagnosis, DO NOT HAVE ALL THESE SIMPTOMES MENTIONED; just few of them...symptoms are just suggestions of possible expressions of "too active" or "too passive" phase.

But, what is normal? Please read AGAIN that pearl of wisdom, about hypomania, and this would make you clear that when someone likes to give diagnosis, everyone MUST be ill. Professional deformation.

All possible diseases and disorders have roots in our mind and emotions: healing and changing the mind and emotions is always long term process, but it is the best investment of time possible: sooner or later happiness and peace arrives as the most precious reward.

Van Gogh

Your attitude towards mood swings is the most important

Everything in our world is bipolar: we have nights and days, sun and rain, mountains and valeys, winters and summers, oceans and deserts, men and women, good and evil, wars and peace, angels and demons, plus and minus is everywhere. Opposites are normal part of our world, we should accept that fact and learn how to attain balance within. We should learn how to accept all parts of ourselves, without judging, blaming ourselves, with unconditional love and respect.

All people have mood-earthquakes in certain periods of life. They always pass by. After storm is always a sunshine day, full of promisses. Without shaking, we would not be able to respect period of inner peace. Anyway, a lot of symptomes of BP are more than positive, like high levels of creativity and energy. Being creative and active is healthy: it is no need to surpress that and proclaim that as symptom of illness.

There is no such thing like desease without cure. Everyone of us has miracoulous self-healing system incorporated in every our body cell as well as in our soul, and in aura, everyone has power and right to decide if wants to attain healthy state or not. Does not matter what doctors say, or other people, but there are always many natural ways to help.

Every BP disorder is just a mask, behind that mask is an individual with wounded emotions who needs healing. Healing is process, and needs time. Neural system needs time to regenerate and calm down.

Causes of extreme mood swings /BPD

1. Stress and emotional trauma

2. Major life events

Positive or negative major life events cause sudden changes, which are big shock for our nerves.

3.Medications

Certain medications, most notably antidepressant drugs, can trigger mania. Other drugs that may induce mania include over-the-counter cold medicine, appetite suppressants, caffeine, corticosteroids, thyroid medications, all hormonal medications (anti-baby pills, menopause hormonal treatment, insulin) and many others. If you use ANY medication, especially hormonal therapies please read all about nus-effects of it and try to replace them with natural products.

4.Substance abuse

Substance abuse when persisted, can cause extreme mood swing on long term basis, many years after stopping using them!!! Neural system gets used on mood swings while using the drugs or alcohol, afterwards it is not easy to get balanced : ups and downs continue happening. On short term basis, drugs such as cocaine, ecstasy, alcohol, and amphetamines can trigger mania, while alcohol and tranquilizers can trigger depression.

5.Sleep deprivation

Quality and quantity of sleeping is very important. In state of sleep we naturally pass trough the self-healing process, due to the alpha- theta - delta brain waves, If someone uses antidepressants or sleeping pills on long-term basis, disturbs natural healing process which would occur in the sleep. Brain and nerves on meds cannot take proper rest, instead of that usually occurs problem with brain circulation, mood swings because of lack of natural sleep etc. Using the meds for psychic disorders, as permanent solution, creates new problems, without solving the first one.

6. Lack of physical and outdoor activities

Without day-light, our brain endocrine glands as pineal and pituitary do not work properly and can cause the chaos and big imbalance in whole hormonal system which affects nerves and our behaviour patterns. This is the trigger for depression.

7. Endocrine glands:

Thyroid gland and all its problems can cause all possible mood swings, depression, suicidal thoughts, fobias, aggressive behaviour, appetite problems, sleeping disorders: actually all symptoms of BPD. Only God knows how many people in the hystory was proclaimed as mad because of thyroid gland. Many cases of BP have some autoimmune desease of thyroid. Please check it properly, as well as parathyroid glands. (Science Daily: "The research suggests that members of families in which bipolar disorder occurs could be tested for autoimmune thyroiditis by means of a simple blood analysis, thereby helping to identify those who also may be at risk for developing bipolar disorder".)

Pineal gland is very interesting: its functions, affects sexual maturation, calcium metabolism, parathyroid function, osteoporosis, cancer, and can be cause of psychiatric disease. Pineal likes a lot of day light, and is sensitive on too much fluoride.

Pituitary gland is very sensitive on stress: pituitary and hypothalamus under the persisting stressful conditions cause mess in whole endocrine system, which causes mood swings.

Sexual gland and hormones: young people are growing, rates of sexual hormones are changing all the time, because sexual hormones are building up and renewing our bodies as well, during the whole life, at least as long as we have them. During the young age body produces them very intensively, with all emotional swings as nus-product of it. They also cause emotional earthquakes in andropause and menopause, as well as in any period of life. Anyway, without satisfying emotional and sexual life, everyone gets depressed, or has all types of behavioural problems.

Pancreas and unstable level of sugar in the blood is causing ups and downs in emotions and behaviour. Reasons for that can be stressful conditions in life, as well as unapropriate diet.

Adrenal glands are connected with stress, and fear or agressive reactions, because in potentialy dangerous situations, they produce hormones of stress, which gives the person opportunity to "fight or flight". This system is our perfect natural protection from the danger from outside world. But, human neural system has not changed from the time we used to live in the caves, when everywhere around was wild nature and we had to react on the danger more quickly then today. Mind though that in that time of human history was not so many stressful situatiions like is in the modern world. Our nevous system reacts on stressfull conditions with the same intensity as in the front of us is wild beast today: modern life is full of stress what is far too much for our sensible body systems. Endocryne glands get used to produce stressful hormones even when there is no reason for that, which gives feelings of constant pressure, anxiety, sadness, isolation, angryness and so on.

8. Body chemistry:

Lack or imbalance of vitamins, minerals, mineral - tissue salts, amino acids if persisted, has big influence on mood and human behaviour. More in the next chapter.

Importance of biochemistry - Tissue salts

1. Tissue salts for nerves and brain

  • Ferric Phosphate (Ferrum phosphoricum)
  • Potassium Phosphate (Kali Phosphoricum)
  • Sodium Phosphate (Natrum Phosphoricum),
  • Magnesium Phosphate (Magnesium Phosphoricum)
  • Calcium Sulphate (Calcarea Sulphuricum)

are mineral salts which are NECESARY for building all brain and nerve cells. Lack of any of them can cause major psychic disorders. BP is connected with Potassium - Sodium imbalance, and in biochemistry and in homeopathy is known that Kali Phos (Potassium Phosphate) can in 6 months of taking heal 2/3 of psychic disorders (Shuessler). If combined with other "brain and nerves" tissue salts, can make big improvements in healing psychic deseases (you can get that mineral salts in HOMEOPATIC REMEDIES)

  • Ferrum phosphoricum (D6) (Ferrum phos.) is a homeopathic biochemic tissue salts which supports the absorption of iron in the body. The protective myelin sheath which surrounds all nerve tissue needs iron to supply this vital nutrient to the nerve cells it encases. Iron in hemoglobin also helps to keep all body tissue, including the brain, supplied with oxygen. Regular use of Ferrum phos. can help to prevent dizziness, headaches and restlessness and is of great benefit for those who tend to feel irritable, tense and tired.
  • Kalium phosphate (D6) (Kali. phos.) is a homeopathic brain and nerve tonic par excellence as well as an amazing nerve nutrient. Used regularly it helps to calm and uplift the spirit and soothe common nervous tension and everyday stress. Kali. phos. is the most widely recommended tissue salt for soothing worry and distress.
  • Magnesium phosphate (D6) (Mag. phos.) is well-known as a homeopathic painkiller, Mag. phos. is also of great benefit to the health of the nerves. It acts as a natural anti-spasmodic and a nerve and muscle relaxant .
  • Natrum phosphoricum (Nat phos) is the remedy for conditions arising from excess of lactic acid, often resulting from too much sugar (pankreas problems). Lactic acid is metabolic found in the brain people with BP. Neutralizes too much acidity. Important for the nerves and whole metabolism.
  • Calcium sulphate D6 ("Calc. sulph") is a tissue salt constituent of the blood and skin and the mineral constituent of the liver - an organ that is responsible for the removal of waste products from the blood stream and tissues of the body to cleanse and purify. From the perspective of biochemic medicine, a build up of toxins in the blood can compromise feelings of wellness and may result in irritability, moodiness and even temporary sleep problems. Regular use of Calc. sulph. (D6) can assist the cleansing process of the body, helping to restore wellbeing and regular sleep patterns.

2.Zinc is neurotransmitter

Zinc deficiency has big influence on normal growth of the brain and is necessary for the nerves and normal functioning of the brain. Zinc is also very important in creating enzymes in the body. Zinc ions are neurotransmitters. Lack of it creates big behavioral problems. Zinc is found in oysters, beans, nuts, almonds, whole grains, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.

3.Importance of Omega-3 Acid

The synapses, or junctions where nerve cells connect with other nerve cells, contain high concentrations of essential fatty acids - they are made of about 60% of the omega-3 fatty acid .Poor neurotransmitter function, can lead to low serotonin levels. And that can lead to higher suicide risk, depression, violent and impulsive behavior.

4. Iron

Iron is a mineral that is used to produce healthy haemoglobin (a biological pigment contained in the red blood cells) that is capable of transporting oxygen to the entire body. All our cells require oxygen to survive, but the brain is the most sensitive organ in the body when it comes to oxygen deprivation.

Iron deficiency, which causes anaemia and reduces the capacity of the blood to transport oxygen, will have a negative effect on brain development before birth and for the first two years of life, as well as on brain function at any stage of a person's life. Lack of iron can cause all possible problems in the body, including tumors, asthma, infections because of lack of immunity. Mental problems are usual if deficiency persist. Ferric Phosphate (Ferrum Phosphoricum)can be taken as homeopathic remedy.

5.Vitamins

Vitamins B are necessary for the nerves, as well as C, A, E.... People who have celiacia, or eat a lot of fast food can also have mood swings, because of lack of vitamins B. The best is to take good VITAMIN/MINERAL supplements daily. Healthy diet is also very important., dairy products, soy sauce as well kombu. Avoid any product with monosodium glutaminate (natrium glutaminate), found in flavor enhancers.

6. Metabolits:

Postmortem Researches on Cambridge showed that some people with bipolar syndrome had significant increases in the concentrations of myoinositol, creatine, glutamate, lactate, and phosphocholine in prefrontal cortex of brain. Let us analise:

Inositol as is involved in a number of biological processes, including: insulin signal transduction, nerve guidance, intracellular calcium concentration control, serotonin activity modulation.

High level of creatine; avoid eating meat.

Glutamate (glutamic acid is neurotranmitter). If there is to many of it, avoid its sources in diet: avoid all meats, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, soy sauce, kombu. Avoid any product with monosodium glutaminate (natrium glutaminate), found in flavor enhancers. Monosodium glutaminate is causing anxiety and aggression, it is poison for body and emotions.

Lactate is lactic acid. You can balance it with Natrium Phosphoricum, homeopathic remedy.

Unfortunately scientists did not recognize that all above mentioned metabolics are connected with disbalance of Phosphor and Calcium...what is connected with Parathyroid gland (and Thyroid as well). More about way of healing the thyroid read in my Hub: Hyperthyroidism&Hypothyroidism

Sesame seeds

are great for balancing Phosphor and Calcium. They have great content of Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, TRYPTOPHANE, B1 Vitamin as well. They also neutralize acidity.

Tryptophan (and sesame seeds)

Many people found tryptophan to be reasonably effective sleep aid, probably due to its ability to increase brain levels of serotonin (a calming neurotransmitter when present in moderate levels) and/or melatonin (a sleep-inducing hormone secreted by the pineal gland in response to darkness or low light levels).

Clinical research has shown mixed results with respect to tryptophan's effectiveness as a sleep aid, especially in normal patients and for a growing variety of other conditions typically associated with low serotonin levels or activity in the brain such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder and seasonal affective disorder. In particular, tryptophan has been showing considerable promise as an antidepressand alone, and as an "augmenter" of antidepressant drugs. However, the reliability of these clinical trials has been questioned.

5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), a metabolite of tryptophan, has been suggested as a treatment for epilepsy and depression, although clinical trials are regarded inconclusive and lacking.5-HTP readily crosses the blood-brain barrier and in addition is rapidly decarboxylated to serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine or 5-HT) and therefore may be useful for the treatment of depression. However serotonin has a relatively short half-life since it is rapidly metabolized by monoamine oxidae, and therefore is likely to have limited efficacy.

It is not recommendable to use it in it´s pure form, it is better to take it from the food (SESAME SEEDS are full of it) or use it in the form of homeopathic remedies, where is very little of original substance present: that way or treatment gives the body opportunity to learn how to produce needed metabolites on its own.

Sesame seeds

are great for balancing Phosphor and Calcium. They have great content of Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, TRYPTOPHANE, B1 Vitamin as well. They also neutralize acidity. Highly recommendable, they are so testfull as tahini paste!

Homeopatic ANACARDIUM ORIENTALE for bipolar syndrom

Anacardium Orientale can be of great help for some people with BP. If you feel the resonance with at least one half of description of symptomes, or your intuition tels you it is right remedie for you, I would recommend it:

Anacardium is made of the Marking Nut, a tree that produces ink, and people who need this remedy somehow want to leave their mark. They are led by a strong need to constantly prove themselves out of a great lack of self-confidence.

They have lost their self-confidence in a personal history of abuse; they have often been beaten, despised, humiliated or sexually abused by people who taught them that they were absolutely worthless. The typical reaction of an Anacardium-personality is "I will show them all!" They demand a lot of themselves and will never give up proving that they do have their value and their qualities.

Anacardiums feel a lot of anger inside, based on a sense of inferiority and dissatisfaction. The combination of a heavy inner aggression together with a great lack of self-confidence lead to cruel and aggressive behaviour only when they feel safe. These are the people who only dare to attack when they are in company of some 'soul mates', or who only hit when nobody notices it, or when their victim has no possibility to defend himself. Expressing their cruel and sadist side provides them a sense of superiority and pleasure, in fact it is some sort of revenge on what has occurred to them. This can also be the dictator, lacking radiance and self-confidence, but forcing people to obey him by harshness. Anacardiums feel an irresistible desire to curse and swear. Yet on a consultation they often act sweet and soft, expressing grief.

Anacardium-characters have an inner duality; they feel they have a dark, evil side and a lighter side fighting it. It is the sense of an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other one, as if he has two wills, antagonism with himself. I think this can be explained as follows: they are no bad people (the light side, the angel), but their great pain has conjured up such an amount of anger and aggression that it has taken shape of an inner person (the dark side, the devil). Often these people can hear voices, commanding them to do things or to hurt themselves!

These people feel a strong irresolution and a sudden loss of memory; everything seems to be as in a dream. If you are in a situation of suppression it does not matter what decision you take, they are all wrong anyway, so for Anacardiums it somehow makes sense to be irresolute. Another reason for their irresolution is their inner duality; they don't know whether they should choose for their good or their evil part. They have two trains of thought, and the delusion of being double. Their memory is weak or very confused; their paralyzed thinking is a result of great fear. Please note that Anacardium is a great remedy for the blackouts during an examination, occurring when you have studied real hard yet kept the idea of "not knowing it".

10 tips for balancing moods swings

We are mighty creators of our life: with power of our intentions, thoughts, emotions, beliefs, visions we build our material reality and influence the life of the others. Our destiny is in our hands and heads only, and we can change it, sometimes with lot of effort but is worth it. Everyone who decides can change oneself. Power within us is stronger then any of us imagines, does not matter what the others say, feel or think about us, does not matter what is written about any disease on this world, whoever wants, can gradually change oneself and get healed, step by step.

1. Easy meditations, techniques of breathing, positive thinking, visualisation of desired positive situations, relaxing music: everything can help. For visualisations, use photos from Internet, or magazines, does not matter. Whatever we see and have feelings about it, can be materialized in our life.

2. Avoid negativity and fearful situations, especially regarding your disorder. You can change your life, believe in yourself. Remember that even doctors have no idea what really bipolarity is, so only you are responsible for your life and state of health, nobody else.

3. It is always better for majority of people to use natural remedies, permanent use of medications can do many harm by suppressing the cause of disorder. Nus-effects of medications is also horrible and one gets addicted as well. Instead of healing one disorder, one gets new problems and vicious circle cannot stop.Only minority of people is satisfied with therapy, if so, then medications are right choice for them. Anyway, everything is matter of choice and free will.

Natural remedies are healing deeply and gradually bringing back the body and mind in the balanced state. Whoever wants to stop using medications, needs to do it slowly and carefully, cutting of quarter by quarter of 1 tablet weekly, and at the same time start take some natural products (herbal remedies, homeopathics, Ayurveda's, Bach Flower remedies, everything is good what suits you, combinations as well. Mineral/Vitamin supplements are essential.

4. People who do not believe in themselves being mentally ill, usually never get psychiatric disease or diagnose. It is matter of personal self-trust. If someone thinks that has (or might get) certain illness, or is fearful of that possibility, this person is on the best way to get that diagnosis and all further symptoms and development of disorders usually occurs. The reason for that is too big involvement into disease, reading the worst prognosis, being afraid: by the power of law of attraction, while thinking about illness instead of health, we are developing the progress of unhealthy state. The cure is in thinking about health, and seeing oneself as normal, balanced and healthy, and wishing that from all heart and soul.

5. Find the cause of illness on physical level: very usually is right cause of illness thyroid gland or problems with adrenal glands. Check all hormones, use natural therapy afterwards, you will be surprised with results: reasonably quick progress occurs, everyday you feel much better, change is so visible, nobody can deny it.

6. Spend a lot of time in the nature, on day light, do physical activities, You will feel change.

7. Right diet: macrobiotic diet is the best, if you adapt it to yourself. At least, follow principles of it, you will see the changes. Avoid meat, at least too much of it, because is full of artificial hormones which cannot help anyone in that sensitive state. The key is in various grains, a lot of vegetables, and fito-proteins.

8. Be creative: write, sing, paint, act, express your full potential and give the best of yourself. Life is to be enjoyed! This world needs your creativity, needs YOU!

9. Help the others: volunteer for some time or get paid for your helping, does not matter: this will give you great blessings and real cause for living. You will see so many others with much worse problems, and you will feel grateful for your life-challenge. Helping the others naturally cures all diseases possible, and give us love and self-respect.

10. Remember: every disease can be healed and this is the only truth. NEVER GIVE UP, you can and will succeed.

Lithium orotate, as a homeopathic sprey

Lithium is mood stabilizator, often prescribed for Bipolar disorder, but concentrations precribed are NEAR-TO-THE-LETHAL ones. In such doses. lithium destroys body organs, altough calms mood swings, especially is helpful for depressive phases. We all need lithium-but very tiny doses of it- it is found in mineral waters, and while drinking mineral water we can get enough of it in our body.

For people who accepted lithium as a part of healing, there is an really great option:

Lithium orotate as a homeopathic spray, called "Symmetry". Lithium orotate is a natural lithium salt of orotic acid, is 20 times more bio-active than other lithium salts and allows a reduction in dosage as well as the likelihood of potential side effects associated with prescription lithium. HBC's Symmetry is the first ever homeopathic Lithium Orotate homeopathic spray formulation. Synergistically combined with both GABA and Albumin, Symmetry is designed to help you instantly achieve therapeutic brain lithium concentrations while supporting balanced brain function, especially during episodes of anxiety, stress, depression. You can check and order it through this link: http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?af=895032

This is an excellent and informative article. Thank you for all your time and effort and kudos to you on your recovery process. I like this statement best:

"The true is that the health or illness is our choice, each person can improve and heal oneself, but has to make the big and constant effort, because changing oneself is not always easy."

This is very true. You are the only one who can change you! However, remember that big change is made of little pieces. Incremental change is the change that lasts. A commitment is a promise you make again and again.

Hi Suzanne, thanks for your comment, I cannot agree more with you, like everybody else, i am still changing daily, but pressure is gone. Thyroid gland is great, mood swings do not exist any more. The same happened to few other my clients. In my country, bipolarity is not so popular like in yours, so we are not to worried about it: we have cyclotymia, what is neurosis, you can get something like vitamin B from the doctors, thanks God, they do not panick about it, and manic-depressive psychosis, what is so serious state that someone must be realy dangerous, have delusions and be completely out of control to get that diagnosys. Thanks to that aproach, we are not afraid of such dyagnosis and try to heal ourselves on other ways, at least many of us. At first WE DO VISIT ENDOCRINOLOGYST nowadays. For Croats depression is much more popular, he, he, he. Thanks for your love and warm support. Blessings.

I am most grateful for the links with the thyroid as I have suffered with thyroid problems for a few years now having had a sub-totalo thyroidectomy about twelve years ago. I will re-read this Hub to find out more about how to keep the thyroid working healthily.

Tatjana, I thought I would mention that the cadavers studied, which you mentioned, were all patients which were on different medications which are prescribed for various mental disorders. The spike you mentioned are related to the medications side affects which attack various organs of the body. The drugs prescribed are 99% synthetic and very difficult for the human digestive tract to assimulate. The toxins, though unintended, that are caused by the bodies natural system in breaking synthetics down are collected in human tissue and organs. It is unfortunate for those with mental inllness that the medications they are prescribed slowly poison them, is it not?

Oh well, guess thats how it goes!

Happy Bipolaring!

Dear Akeejaho,

you gave me the answer on the question I was asking myself, because I did not find whole data about that medical research. I was wandering...thanks for valuable information.

With medicaments for any type of mental disorder happenes that they damage blood circulation especially in the brain. How can anybody get healed if brain does not get enough of oxygen and the rest of needed "food" which is in the blood?

I will not mention the other side-effects of drugs, they are so many coctels from various types of meds who create zombi-like people, without energy and hope to move on... Medications create just new physical and psychical disorders.

Very interesting is, that the last findings of scientific researches is that the majority of people who have "bipolar syndrome" have actualy problems with thyroid gland (found all data in Science Daily)... That means that there is no mental disorder at all. It s hormonal imbalance and CAN BE HEALED on natural way.

The problem is that is not always easy to detect hormonal imbalance through the blood tests. Because levels of hormones change from moment to moment... Very often problems with endocrine glands stays unrecognized for many years...

When patient visits doctor, the easiest dyagnosis to give is "depression", or "bipolarity", or "neurosis" (etc) and give to such persons a meds which keep them quiet, sleepy and inactive. More difficult is to find the cause of mental imbalance, and heal that particular physical cause and all the traumas which they caused that.

I know one case here in Z., when patient got dyagnosis of "manic depressive psychosis" after ONE CONVERESATION with doctor, and whole coctel of meds afterwards. One conversation with doctor only. Can you imagine that?

Thanks God, we leave in 21. century, and everyone can educate oneself: we all have free will do decide; to be healthy and stable on our way, with milions of natural remedies and self-help methods available or to put our health in the hands of somebody else, who treat us as experiment. It is our desicion.

Be blessed and happy...and thank you so much for your comment...I appreciate your opinion very, very much...

Wow, this is a very thorough Hub. I agree with you that the mind has great powers to heal the body. I have witnessed people who suffered with fibromyalgia be completely rid of their pain when they received hypnotherapy to help them with unresolved emotions. Many people who have fibromyalgia get very angry when I tell them this because this seems to imply to them that they are hypochondriacs. this is not the case because their body symptoms are coming from unresolved feelings in the subconscious mind. It is not in their conscious control.

I agree with the others very informative. I feel the treatment of Bipolar has a long way to go. I am currently in a low phase no doubt my doctor will be tempted to prescribe anti-depressants next week when I see him but then I run the risk of becoming manic as I did last time from taking Zoloft. & then Ill have to take lithium to moderate somewhat the effect of the Zoloft. I then I am concerned about the whole toxic effect that these drugs have on my whole sensitive system. I wanna scream in protest because the development of real treatment with limited side effects seems a long way off...

Dear Lori, yes, I agree with you. Illness or pain is like PC program on subconscious level plus our very conscious fears or negative expectations. On one way or another is possible to get rid of them. Hypnotherapy can be also of great help for some people, it calms down and deletes negative programes in our mind. For others is better - autosugestion. Every way is good, if is natural. Many thanks for your comment.

Dear Dorsi, I apreciate your comment and your support a lot. Thank you very much for that.

Love and Gratitude to the both of you.

Dear Barry, please try to use some natural remedies instead of anti-depressant. If you are depressed, use combination of St.John`s Worth tea or tablets, vitamins/minerals supplement 2 times a day, you will start to feel the difference. I would really recommend you to use homeopatic products (dilute tablets in the big glass of water), you will see and feel difference in few days. You will be better and better day after day.

My pendulum shows that you NEED TO CHECK YOUR HORMONES, especially thyroid...it seems is not working properly (right now, is too slow).

Do not give up, you can attain emotional balance again. You do not need antidepressants and Lithium for that.

Receive a lots of Love, Light and emotional support. I DO BELIEVE IN YOUR HEALTH, believe in you from all my heart.

Tatjana, this was an amazingly informative hub. Here in the US, bipolar disorder almost seems epidemic. That many people can't be that ill. So I think you are right when you suggest various catalysts for bipolar type behavior. I can testify to the mood swings caused by hormones. I was up and down like an elevator at 5:00 pm, but realized that it had a monthly swing, and I never had any real serious behavior issues. After a hysterectomy, I totally evened out. Sometimes I miss the ups, though.

Tatjana-Mihaela profile image

Tatjana-Mihaela Hub Author 2 years ago

Hi, Dolores, yes, hormones are playing so important role in human lives - and yes imbalance of hormones appears so often among the people, also because of various reasons. The main cause is, of course, stress. That imbalance is producing so many mood-changes.

Hysterectomy is heavy shock for the body, production of sex-hormones stops (or slows down very much) ... I hope you have found a natural way to replace them.

Thanks for your wise comment....

Tatjana-Mihaela profile image

Tatjana-Mihaela Hub Author 2 years ago

Hi, Ravenmn - your problems are very connected with hormones. All of them. When hormones play their games, nerves suffer as well but nerves are also healeble. it takes 6-9 months to regenerate nerves. If you do not give up, you can only succeed.

Abut PCOS and endometriosis I also wrote a Hub...please check it. When one endocrine gland is imbalanced, the others become imbalanced as well, and result is - mood swings, all sorts of fears, crazy ideas in the mind, etc.etc.....the list is very long.

I wish you very much to find the way how to recover yourself.

Hugs and XX.

Well, there are two types of lithium medications: lithium orotate and lithium carbonate. I do not know which one you take.

Lithium orotate is much better.

I also do not know what is dosage you take and side effects you have.

In doses which is lithium usually precribed, it can be poisoning, because doctors very often prescribe near-lethal-doses of lithium, and actually people need much lower doses to get balanced !!!

Today we miss lithium, because this is element which is available in natural springs, mineral waters,in very low quantity. Today we drink water as it is, so we are were we are.

Your condition is sensitive, I know, and I can offer full help only during the consultation...it is hard for me suggest anything if I do not know all details....

Wihout consultations I can only suggest you to try to make your lithium dosage as low as possible...

Although I appreciate the great amount of information you have presented here, I disagree with the insisting on only natural healing methods. I think many of the techniques you listed are helpful and should be tried, but I also believe that each person must find the appropriate treatment for what they have. It can take some time to find the right balance of medications and these medications address the problems in the brain that result from the bipolar disorder. I know some people with bipolar who have tried more homeopathic remedies and nearly died because it wasn't enough to calm the storm of emotions in their heads. It is far better for each individual to be very involved in the treatment process, give useful feedback to their practitioner, and use appropriate coping skills (many of which you have mentioned).

Tatjana-Mihaela profile image

Tatjana-Mihaela Hub Author 23 months ago

I completely agree with you Karent: every person should find his/her own way of solving the problem.

People who were long time on drugs, they depend on chemistry and many of them really cannot switch on homeopathics, epecially not easily...

In addition, some of them even do not want to choose any natural way- chemistry "sorts out" emotional problems quickly without any effort...but with long term side effects and with causing new problems and real brain damages.

For any natural way of healing people need a lot of effort - and healing traumas that are in the root of problem...and it is not what everyone would want to do. Some people can do that. For them is that article. Plus, as I said, majority of people who has BP dyagnosis - have problem with thyroid (scientific research). Instead of using tones of drugs for calming emotions, healing thyroid would calm down storm of emotions much easier then you can imagine.

This article is for people who are "brave enough" to go to endocrinologist and check their endocrine glands and hormones ...before accepting BP as dyagnosis.

In my experience, antidepressants cause severe depression in bipolar people, not mania. I'm sure that as with anything else, we are all individuals and each person will have a different experience.

A friend of mine who was diagnosed as bipolar recently killed himself by jumping off a bridge. I know another person who was diagnosed but by using mind over matter overcame symptoms. Unusual?

Whilst this hub contains lots of very useful information and I commend you for it i have to disagree in a couple of areas. One. Bipolar Affective Disorder is not a Mind over Matter condition rather it is a chemical imbalance in the brain probably though yet an unknown defect in the genome sequence. Whilst we can treat ourselves for the most part we need expert and I mean expert help to manange the issue. I just do not think you have made that distinction.

Tatjana-Mihaela profile image

Tatjana-Mihaela Hub Author 21 months ago

Well Barry, you are not well informed: new scientific research proves that people with BD have actually hormonal imbalance (especially some thyroid condition). Every hormonal imbalance causes "chemical imbalance" in brain.

Such people are treated with medications which never heal that problem, neither sort out chemical imbalance in the brain, instead of that medications create new chemical imbalance in the brain and body so person becomes dependable of medications (addict), helpless and dependable of the others because of "strange medical condition caused by unknown reasons".

If someone thinks that he/she needs such type of expert who will never heal him, just put him on drugs, and create further medical problems - this is perfectly OK, for people who want to be depended from ´the others. This article is not meant to be for such people.

This article IS for people who belive that they are the owners of their bodies (and mind) and that they are able to find the way how to solve any disease.

Due to the difficult life-traumas, hormonal imbalance and hyperthyroidism ("experts" did not dyagnose it for more then 15 years) - I had for years extreme mood changes (and many other mentioned symptoms). Somebody else on my place would got BP diagnosis without any problem (I know people who got BP dyagnosis (and free drugs for it) with one half of my problems - but all of them WANTED some "dramatic" DYAGNOSIS - and all of them wanted to be depended.

Instead of running to psychiatrist for free-of-charge drugs, I learned to control my emotions and afterwards found out cause of my health problem, healed my thyroid and all mood changes and other problems just stopped.

Some people are "fighters" and believe in themselves, some just "give up" and believe that they are helpless. At the end, health or disease is matter of our personal choice, so whatever someone chooses - it is completely OK: but none of us have not right to discourage the others who still want to believe in themselves.

Thank you for the visit and comment.

Well TroubleDyouth, altough your link is interesting and very useful, comments are not to be used for pure promoting another sites. You need to be more specific, not to write around definicitions of BP and living link. We consider your way as spam, especially because you did not write any Hub yet.

Thanks, very well written and I agree with alot of what you have written. It is useful to be very aware of natural remedies and how they may work with medication. Some vitamin B supplements actually work well for people who are not on medication, yet can cause opposing reactions when someone is on medication. There is an addative in some vitamin tablets that are not good for Bipolar and can distort the good of the vitamin.

Ive added the bulk of my comment to you to a hub called a discussion on bipolar.

Thank you, Salt. None of suggested methods would work while someone is on various coctails of drugs. Natural remedies cannot heal while one is on heavy meds. One have too choose - to stay on meds or gradually switch on natural methods.

You are obviously very well informed and are gifted in being able to present your subject matter so well. I'm wondering if you've ever read anything by Barbara Ann Brennan? She apparently has written a couple of massive tomes on healing. Her first, Hands of Light, took fifteen years in the writing, apparently. I'm pretty sure you'd like it. Her second is called, Light Emerging. This last was endorsed by such people as Louise L Hay, Rollo May, and Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. It's very detailed.

Barbara is excellent. I have Hands of Light for many years. She is one of the healers who inspired me the most. Well, many techniques she described in her books I tried and regularly used in combination with Reiki - and it was always very effective healing and so often even amazing experience.

Interesting. I'm gonna try eating food rich with those nutrients & see if I feel any different.

I have been on 2 types of mess for about 13 years and a few days ago I took it down to one dose a night insted of one in the morning and one at night and I'm doing fine. I was diagnosed at the age of 5 and I'm currenly 18. My doctor tried both ADD and ADHD meds but they made me violent but wen I was given mood stabalizers iras calm. It kinda pisses me off wen ppl like u say it can be cured wen it can't. Bipolar is caused by a chemical imballance in the Brian. I have experienced ups and downs and believe me it's none of the bull shit u posted was the problem. My medicine was part of my calmness most was my music. Medicine doesn't cure it but only makes the outcome lesser. I do know how it is with no one to talk to wen I'm down which lead to hospital visits. If u ever gave it a thought that bipolar is cureable then i'm sorry for u cuz it's not. So plz next time u go for an illness that has no cure leave it be. Illnesses that affect the brain CANT be cured but CAN be neutrilzed. Plz leave it to the docotors and also I studied my disorder cuz I'm looking for a psychology major

Tatjana-Mihaela profile image

Well Garret, BP is in so many cases very cureable, but only for people who study how to heal themselves naturally, not for those ones who study everything what would support their dyagnosis and opinion that BP is not possible to be treated on any other ways then with prescribed drugs.

Whoever is on prescribed drugs cannot be healed for sure, because prescribed drugs cause brain imbalance as well. Many people with BP actually like to be addicted to drugs, because they do give them temporary relief, or do "neutralizing the brain". The same story, that you try to sell here I also heard from any heroin/methadon addict - that they need something to neutralize their brains.

You also did not read my article at all, otherwise you would see that new research is pointing that tyroid imbalance is in the root of BP problem . Thyroid imbalance is causing major brain imbalance, everyone who was dyagnosed with thyroid problem can witness that for sure, no matter if he studied psychology or not.

BTW, everyone has experience of ups and downs, it is very strange that as student of psychology you do not know that. It is part of human nature, BP is just much more extreme in ups and downs due to the endocrine imbalance.

I wish you a lot of luck in embrassing your disease, but you are right only for yourself, not for the other people.

Thank you for visit and

comment.

U have a lot of fucking nerve to tell me to embrass my illness. I'm smart enough to realize everyone has ups and downs cuz I see that a lot in my friends. I am aware bipolar mood swings r more extreme then regular mood swings. And I also know they range in servarity. Now I'm not a real big fan of reading up on stuff every fuckin day cuz I have a life I try to live. Now I don't give a damn about the natural healing bs cuz 13 years ago it was noted as a chenical imbalance and also y wouldn't my doctors not tell me about the new reserch??? I will let u in on this one of my meds if I jus stop taking it will kill me. Also ur wats of natural healing isn't different then the doctors ways cuz u did post pills on there which r also drugs so u ain't got no room to critsize the drug option. As far as heroin addicts that's way different cuz I read a book about a former heroin addict that did use methadon but it didn't relle help. And I'm also aware that I do need to study more in the psyh field but right now I'm trying to get my record label up and running along with finding a college

Science Daily: "The research suggests that members of families in which bipolar disorder occurs could be tested for autoimmune thyroiditis by means of a simple blood analysis, thereby helping to identify those who also may be at risk for developing bipolar disorder".

There is a lot more about it, it is just short citation. Research is done only few years ago (2-3).

Why would anyone tell you that? YOU are the only one who is responsible for your health, not your doctors, neither pharmacists who earn a lot of money from prescribing drugs to "non-cureable" human diseases. Thanks to the marketing of pharmacists, every human health condition became allegedly not possible to heal what is nonsense.

I know several cases of BP who were for years on meds while having problem with thyroid. No doctor ever send them to endocrinologist, up till the moment they requested testing on their own.

BTW, nobody should ever stop taking any prescribed drugs suddenly, neither I would something like that suggest to anyone, geting off of any prescribed drug is long process...because being on drugs is as having new disease.

hi,i read all the comments and your article is very good.

My dad is bipolar, diagnosticated 4years ago, when he was almost 60.Big manic episod(could be also a result of his negatvie thinking, which was his thing all the time).

Iam having the same name as ,i wonder if you are in your country now?

Iam doing a lot of positive thinking,i tried hypnoanalysis,i tried yoga,Reiki(tomorrow is the second session),but i still have that fear of unknown(posibility for me or my brother to inheritate the disorder).

I would love to talk more with you about this things;I will go back to my country and i will haave my endocrine glandes checked.Reading on the internet only scary statements about this disorder, didnt do well.Only when i read your post i realise there could be actually a probability of hope, without worring so much of the future.

Love and blessings from me

Hi Mihaela,

people don`t inherit BP so simply - that ones who eventually get it "from their parents" actually get imprint of parent`s behavioural patterns through the traumatic memories, but that is completely another story.

Yes I am in Zadar now, you can contact me on e-mail mihaelat999@yahoo.com

Love, peace and blessings

Bok Mihaela,

Lijepi pozdravi...

Ummm..I have a few questions for you. First off, are you bipolar? If someone has tried, for many years, your thoughts and ideas for the "curing" of bipolar disorder without success, what would you suggest then? Though you provide some interesting and valuable information in your hub, I think it is dangerous to say the there is a 'cure' to bipolar. You may be co-signing someone's idea to stop their medication which can have devastating affects, some of which can lead to death. I am in a rapid progression mode in my bipolar, and have been for the last two years. I have had testing of my thyroid, hormonal levels, and the whole lot. These tests have come back normal. My meds have had to be changed 3 times in the past two years due to the rapid progression. My system in deteriorating so rapidly that the medications are failing. Herbal remedies, meditation, proper exercise and diet, therapy, sun therapy, massage therapy, aroma therapy, and many more have not worked, or when they have had very moderate success, they have stopped working relatively quickly.

Tatjana-Mihaela Hub Author 13 months ago

Hi Mieketownsend,

I am very sorry because of your condition, but medications never satisfactory work for anyone in prolonged period of time - they cause so many side-effects that brain starts to deteriorate even more rapidly, and this always happens, sooner or later to everyone, unfortunately. That is the reason why official medicine says that there is no cure for BP, because medications are not cure, they cause serious deterioration of brain and nerves.

I would never recommend to anyone who is for years on strong medications to stop using them, what I clearly stated in several comments. This article is mainly for the people who still did not become ADDICTED to medications... Majority of people who are too long on medications, and whose brain and nerves already seriously deteoriated, because of use of medications, unfortunatelly cannot be cured on any natural way any more, neither they would try stop using their meds, after they have read one article. Let us not be so naive.

2. There are not only hormones that could cause symptomes of bipolarity - I mentioned in article various other possibilities... the list is much longer, but if I would go in even more in-dept analysis, my article would be book, not an article.

3. I think that is very selfish and dangerous to say that if YOU did not find a cure that the others cannot be healed, just because your condition is worsening.(natural ways you tried were not satisfactory enough in your case but medicines you take are causing quick progress of your disease)

If you did not succeed, and everything you tried failed to give you health, I am truly sorry, but please be so kind to make an effort to give the hope to the others.

4- There is natural cure for every health problem and every health disorder (mental or physical) - but not all people can find their cure on time. Sometimes is too late.

Thanks you for the extensive information. I am wondering if there have been positive results of people being healed of this disease by using a nutritional intervention.
